Who processes your data
The montastruc.com website is published by Philippe Raynaud de Fitte, owner of the Château de Montastruc, 110 route du Penlet, 24520 Lamonzie-Montastruc, France. He is the controller of the data described on this page. For any question, you can write to him through the site’s contact form.
The data collected
Contact form
Your surname, first name, email address and message, in order to reply to you.
Booking request
The forms on the Rent page collect your arrival and departure dates, the number of people present, your surname and first name, email address, telephone number and postal address, as well as your answers about the planned event and about the independent providers you wish to be put in touch with. This information is used to study your request, then to draw up and follow the rental contract.
Visiting the site
As with any website, the server records in its technical logs the IP address of visitors, the pages requested, the date and the browser used. The site’s security extension, Wordfence, analyses these same requests to block intrusion attempts.
Audience measurement
Only with your consent, Google Analytics, loaded by Google Tag Manager, counts visits and pages viewed. Google then receives your IP address and information about your browser. Without your consent, neither is loaded.
The site does not allow comments and does not create visitor accounts.
Why, and on what basis

- Drawing up and performing the rental contract: performance of the contract.

How long data is kept
- Messages, requests and bookings: the time needed to handle your request and, in the case of a rental, the length of the contract, then the limitation and retention periods set by law.
- Server technical logs: eight weeks, a period set by the host, IONOS.
- Your cookie choice: six months.
- Audience measurement cookies: up to two years, a period set by Google.
Who receives your data
Your messages and requests are read by the owner of the château. They are neither sold nor transferred. The following also take part, solely for the running of the site:
- IONOS, the site’s host;
- Google, which provides the mailbox receiving the forms (Gmail) and, only with your consent, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and YouTube;
- the OpenStreetMap Foundation, only with your consent, which provides the map tiles and receives your IP address for that purpose.
Google is based in the United States. Data reaching it is transferred there under the safeguards provided by the GDPR, in particular the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The OpenStreetMap Foundation is based in the United Kingdom, which the European Commission recognises as ensuring an adequate level of data protection.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, its rectification, erasure or portability, ask for its processing to be restricted or object to it, and withdraw any consent given at any time. You may also set out instructions on what happens to your data after your death. Simply write through the site’s contact form, or to 110 route du Penlet, 24520 Lamonzie-Montastruc, France. You will receive a reply within one month.

Cookies

Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site are set without your consent; all others wait for your choice. On your first visit, a banner offers three choices, each as simple as the others: accept all, refuse all, or choose category by category.
