Originally from the Périgord, Yohann Perié ran his own restaurant for eleven years before cooking wherever his clients are staying, for a single meal or as a live-in chef over several days, with produce from local growers and the region’s markets. His packages and menus are set out on ypchef.com.

Chef Christophe Jean, trained with Troisgros and Georges Blanc, cooks in person at the venue with a self-sufficient brigade that brings its own equipment, from seated meals to cocktail receptions, for up to 800 guests. Each proposal is written for the venue after a technical visit, using seasonal produce whose origin is named.

How is a provider brought in during the rental?
The request goes to the owner, who may point towards a provider depending on what is needed, without ever carrying out the work himself. The provider is outside Château de Montastruc: they contract directly with the tenant, set their own terms and invoice the tenant for their work. Payment is made on the spot and directly.
How is a provider for meals arranged?
If the tenant wishes, the owner can put them in touch with independent providers for shopping and supplies, the preparation of meals and table service. The tenant agrees their terms with them and pays them directly, outside the rental price.
Does the owner invoice the work of third parties?
No. The owner of Château de Montastruc invoices no service and no working time. Any costs he may have advanced on the tenant’s behalf are repaid to him at cost, without mark-up. He takes no responsibility for these services, which are engaged directly between the tenant and the providers.
