The Countess’s antechamber, elegant, all in the soft pale blue soothing tones of its toile de Jouy, adjoins the countess’s room. This beautiful room served by the 18th century gallery was used as an intimate and private salon for the lady of the house, who could host her guests there, away from the pageantry of the grand salon of Montastruc.
Overlooking the water moat shaded by tall lime trees, facing north-west and contemplating a landscape of meadows and forests, the former anteroom is a comfortable refuge. Completed by a bathroom and a separate toilet, this room is the last component of a large ground-floor apartment whose rooms can communicate with each other.
