The “Abbot’s room” is a Louis XV room entirely designed and built in the 18th century into a 13th century corner tower, in a style of rustic simplicity but with the elegance characteristic of its time.
On the 1st floor, opening to the west over the large lime trees and overlooking the water moats, the Abbot’s room with shimmering colors is full of light and adjoins the old open Gothic gallery which became oratory in the 15th century.
One can access this pretty bedroom and its private bathroom directly from the Gothic room serving as a family lounge for Montastruc guests.
